Wyeside’s cinema, theatre and gallery spaces are ideal for events of all kinds - from large presentations to small boardroom meetings. It’s a combination of our flexible facilities, central location, beautiful riverside setting and friendly, efficient service – along with highly competitive rates of hire – that make us such a popular venue for conferences, business meetings and private functions.

Two high capacity spaces– The Market Theatre, which will accommodate up to 158 in full concert-style seating (plus stage area), up to 200 (standing) with a flat floor, or 100 (seated) with a flat floor. The Castle Cinema, which will seat up to 183 in tiered seating (plus stage area). The Market Theatre, with its flexible seating, makes an excellent venue for presentations, performances, group work or even fairs, whilst the Castle Cinema is an ideal lecture room – but we stress that this list is far from exhaustive, and will be able to advise on the exact solution for your own individual requirements.

Three cinema screens with facilities to present PowerPoint, video or DVD.

Exhibition space– Wyeside’s Gallery is equipped with exhibition lighting, and suitable for all visual arts, crafts and installations.

Catering – Wyeside is able to arrange catering for your event to suit your requirements.

Two licensed bars – Wyeside is fully licensed to serve alcohol, and all our auditoria are licensed for the consumption of alcohol. Wyeside’s bars also serve a range of soft drinks and snacks, as well as teas and excellent fresh coffee – short and dark or with plenty of froth.

Box Office and Reception – Wyeside’s Box Office are able to greet and advise your guests, handle ticket bookings and assist with any technical set-up that may be required.
