British acting royalty Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren team up for a thrilling account of the great British filmmaker’s explosive romance with his steadfast wife and filmmaking collaborator, Alma Reville. Set during their making of Psycho, (one of Hitch’s great movies screening on Monday 25 March) which would require huge emotional and financial commitment that would test their relationship to the limits. Like My Week with Marilyn this entertaining, highly enjoyable tribute to the man behind the legend is a love letter to the period and the larger-than-life Hollywood characters.
