Full of ironic humour and snappy dialogue that will amuse the adults, while the eye candy and physical comedy will work for kids. A fresh and funny version of the fairytale, here Snow White is banished to the forest, where she is taken in by a band of robber dwarves who prepare her to reclaim her rightful place on the throne. Collins is an alluring Snow White, while Roberts has fun as the enjoyably nasty Queen and Lane provides some nice comic moments as the Queen’s downtrodden servant.

Based on the hugely successful satirical novel, this is part love story, part satire of spin-centric politics, and in part a thoughtful measuring of different belief systems. An uptight government fisheries scientist, Dr Alfred Jones thinks the idea of introducing salmon to Yemen is ludicrous. But his arm is twisted and head is turned by Harriet Chetwode-Talbot, a businesswoman who represents a Yemeni sheikh determined to implement the eccentric plan of the title.

In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover how they've all changed over the years and that time and distance can't break the bonds of friendship. This hilarious, raunch-filled romp succeeds in bringing back the nostalgic memories of the original films, highly recommended for the die-hard fans!

Sean Penn is priceless, playing oddball retired rock star Cheyenne who sets off on an offbeat, cross-country road trip across the USA in search of someone and something of purpose in his stalled life. With its terrific David Byrne roots-and-rock soundtrack, idiosyncratic encounters and wonderful cameos, Paolo 'Consequences of Love' Sorrentino's English language debut also benefits from a sharp, confident script full of warmth, smart dialogue and occasional laugh-out-loud humour.

Every few years, a horror movie comes along that promises to revitalise the genre, not since Scream has a horror movie subverted expectations to such wicked effect. Five college kids scoot off to a remote woodland cabin for a weekend break, where, after the discovery of a run diary in the creepy basement things swiftly turn horrific. This is the funniest horror film since Evil Dead 2, the smartest since New Nightmare and surely one of the most breathlessly entertaining, original movies of the year.
