"Seductive voiced singer creating a huge stir in the world of music." Time Out

Once heard, Yasmin Levy's voice is never forgotten. She revives the most beautiful Ladino songs from the Judeo-Spanish Sephardic culture which reaches back to 15th century Spain, a delicate weave of Arabic, Jewish and Christian influences. Yasmin updates these songs, often mixing them with the sultry heat of Andalusian Flamenco.

What she does with them is electrifying, and has earned her BBC World Music Awards nominations in 2005 and 2006. Yasmin appears with a superb 5-piece band, featuring guitar, duduk and percussion. Don't miss a fabulous opportunity to experience this stunning world-class artist here in Wales!

“Something really special… She is extraordinary!” BBC Radio 4
