Wyeside Arts Centre is a registered charity (no: 505656) and a company limited by guarantee (no: 01279900) registered in England and Wales. Wyeside Arts Centre LTD is registered as a Data Controller on the public Register of Data Controllers (Ref ZA750263) as maintained by the UK’s Information Commissioner.

Ticketing Data


When you purchase tickets or gift vouchers through our Box Office at Wyeside Arts Centre, your name, email, phone number, and address data will be stored by our ticketing partner, Ticketsolve https://www.ticketsolve.com/ We use this information to contact you about any event changes if they occur. Where consent is given, we will also use this information to contact you about upcoming Wyeside events that may be of interest to you. These details will never be passed on to a third party.

Online Data


When you book tickets online, data is shared between:

Realex https://www.globalpaymentsinc.com/en-gb/accept-payments/ecommerce (payment gateway), and Ticketsolve (ticketing platform) in order to process the transaction.

Where customers have opted to provide their details for mailings, data will be shared with MailChimp https://www.mailchimp.com/ (marketing platform).

Where customers sign up to our mailing list via our website, data will also be shared with SquareSpace https://www.squarespace.com/ in order to track how our website is performing.

The Welsh side of our website uses a facility called Bablic, which translates our website into Welsh automatically for our Welsh speaking customers. https://www.bablic.com/

The calendar on our website is hosted separately by a company called Spread Simple and is embedded into our main website. https://spreadsimple.com

Realex are a highly trusted online payment card processor, accredited with the Account Information Security certification by VISA and compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Version 3.22, the highest level of compliance. We do not store your bank details on our system.

Ticketsolve acts as a data processor on behalf of Wyeside Arts Centre

Ticketsolve, Realex, MailChimp and Wyeside Arts Centre have implemented appropriate technological measures to protect against accidental loss, destruction, damage, alteration or disclosure.

Third party consent


We will never sell any part of your data, nor pass it on to any third party, artist or promoter. We may, very occasionally, contact you ourselves to let you know about events by other promoters which we think you might enjoy.

Where we use a data processor in order to help us provide the service you request, these organisations are obligated to act on our instruction in relation to the use of your personal data and do not have any control over your data in their own right. We will make sure that anyone who provides a service for Wyeside enters into an agreement with us and meets our standard for data security. They will not use your data for anything other than the clearly defined purpose relating to the service they are providing.

We will need to share your data where legally required to do so, or when requested by the police or a regulatory or government authority investigating illegal activities.

Website Cookies


When someone visits our website (www.wyeside.co.uk) we use a number of third party services to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.

Cookies are necessary to the process of booking your tickets through our website, using the Ticketsolve system, however they are only temporary. Other temporary cookies present on our website are there to ensure that website content is displayed correctly and will disappear when your user session has ended. We cannot be responsible for cookies relating to third-party features such as Facebook, Twitter, Google etc.

We may use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the website. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the website, device used, where visitors have come to the website from, and the pages they visited.

We also employ the use of tracking software on our website to help us improve our customers experience online and highlight UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) issues. Mailing List


When you sign up for our mailing list, either at the time of booking or separately through our sign-up form, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few different reasons: to share information such as upcoming shows; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We also gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve marketing.

Donation Data


When you make a donation to us, sponsor a seat or become a friend of Wyeside, personal information we collect may include your name, title, email, phone number, gift aid status, postal address, gift information and standing order bank details where applicable. This data is stored securely on our premises. We will process personal information you provide to administer any one off or on going donations you make and to claim gift aid.

When You Visit Our Premises


We use CCTV equipment in and around our premises for monitoring and security purposes. CCTV cameras operate on all public access points and in the ‘front of house’ areas of the building. They do not operate in private areas such as washrooms.
