The Castle auditorium seats 183 in tiered traditional cinema styled seating, showing the latests cinema blockbusters.

The Market Theatre seats 158 in full concert style, primarily used for live arts, theatre, music, comedy and dance. But also has a cinema screen. The seats are also capable of being “pulled-back” to expose the flat floor which can be used for workshops, community events etc.

Whether you’re visiting for a show, film or workshop, we have a range of hot/cold drinks, and snacks available. With two fully licensed bars serving a range of beers, wines and spirits. Our Bars are licensed till 12am. With an array of snacks from popcorn, crisps, nuts and sweets to accompany your drink. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy!

Our aim is to be a welcoming venue for everyone and all ages. We have lift access to all floors and a toilet. PLEASE NOTE: some steps into the Castle auditorium.

Our disabled seating and parking facilities are limited due to the restricted nature of our Grade II listed building. Booking in advance is strongly recommended via our Box Office.

Looking for venue hire Wyeside can offer a variety of competitively priced spaces. Informal meetings can be held in our Window on the Wye, or Gallery. For larger events or conferences we have the Castle Auditorium or the Market Theatre.

Our Gallery is available for artists to exhibit and sell their work. Exhibitions last three months and are featured on our website and other marketing campaigns. Artists will also be given the option of a private viewing, with invitations being sent to local press, our board members, Friends of Wyeside and other guests of your choosing.
